Jambo! (Hello!) I am Nickson Moshi co-owner and operator of Kilisummit Adventure & Safari,LLC. I am a native of Tanzania, Africa and am a professional licensed mountain guide with the National Park Service of Tanzania and certified by the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Advanced Wilderness First Aid and Heart Saver CPR.
I was born and raised at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro as a member of the Chagga Tribe. I have in depth understanding of the history, people and culture of Africa. I first began climbing Kilimanjaro as a porter at the age of 15. I learned to speak English fluently and quickly moved into the position of assistant guide. For the past 13 years I have lead safaris and have been a head mountain guide leading people from around the world on the adventure of a lifetime to the highest mountain in Africa and the world's highest free standing mountain - Mt. Kilimanjaro.
Over the last several years I have started to specialize in trekking and safari services for groups and individuals with special needs. I have guided people with physical and mental challenges as well as blind individuals, many of whom were able to make it to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro. I would be happy to discuss any special needs that you or your group might have in order to assist you in planning your adventure.
My goal with each trek and safari is to help you experience the beauty and adventure of Kilimanjaro and Africa with your safety as my #1 concern. All of my drivers, guides and porters are selected from a pool of multilingual well qualified individuals who are trained and certified in first aid and as guides. Your safety and well being are of utmost importance to us from the moment you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport to the moment you leave.

Hello! My name is Natalie Latzka, co-owner of Kilisummit Adventure & Safari,LLC. I was born and raised in Minnesota and currently live in the Minneapolis- St. Paul Twin Cities area with my three beautiful daughters. By trade I am an attorney and have worked with a legal publishing company for over 13 years.
When I am not at work I am dreaming of the mountains and planning my next adventure. Although Minnesota is not known for high altitude adventure, I discovered a love for high places at an early age. My Dad, the self proclaimed mountain man "Diesel", took me to many trails and peaks over the years where he taught me that life is sweeter and God is closer when you are on a mountain. Together we've climbed the highest peaks in the continental United States and ventured to Africa to discover the beauty and adventure of Kilimanjaro. I have come to learn that through adventure and challenge you develop a greater understanding of yourself and life. There are so many parallels between mountain journeys and everyday life. As in life, a mountain journey may lead you to find excitement in achieving a summit goal and other times we find the need to accept our limitations and find joy in the simple pleasures of the journey!
