I experienced a trip of a lifetime, reaching the summit of Kilimanjaro on my birthday and having a National Geographic like experience on the safari. Kilisummit exceeded all my expectations. Right from the initial contact with Natalie, I knew Kilisummit was right for me. Natalie walked through the entire trip and provided key insights earned through personal experience. She and the entire Kilisummit staff were always very approachable and professional.
Before and after the climb the accommodations were excellent as were the guides, porters, and cooks. The safari was excellent and the nights spent in tents in the middle of the Serengeti are still vivid. The whole trip was an incredible personal journey!

They provided a turnkey trip from the top of the Kilimanjaro to the inside of the Ngorongoro Crater with many amazing stops in between. Our family trip to Africa with Kilisummit was awesome. At 20 years of age I would say it was one of the best adventures I could recommend. It was something that you just have to do.

I highly recommend Kilisummit. They are a top level service provider. With their lifetime knowledge of Mt Kilimanjaro. Every step along the journey to the summit was a positive life experience. The food, equipment and people were great. The team comraderie to the top and back was one of the greatest experience to see. When was the last time you did something for the first time like summit with your new found friends? The safaris were unbelievable. Seeing lions hunt one minute then caring for their young in the natural environment yet up close and personal. It was all so amazing.

Every aspect of their hospitality was fantastic. From the meals to the accomodations to the porter service exceeded my expectations. All the natural and very comfortable accomodations made this adventure even more memorable. The once in a life time adventure climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and going on a safari was a life time memory that I will never forget. We also made life time friends which was an unexpected pleasure.

My trip to Africa this summer was a life-changing experience and I really have the Kilisummit team to thank for that. I went into this trip as a complete novice to hiking and climbing. However, the Kilisummit team made sure I was completely prepared for this new adventure. They were readily available to answer every question I had ahead of time and their website provided me with all the packing tips and information I needed well in advance of my trip. Once I arrived in Africa, the group was extremely organized and I never had any doubts that I, and my belongings, would be well taken care of. The Kilisummit team amazed me with the quality of meals we were provided with on the climb and also consistently surprised me with all the "added extras" they provided us with along the way. On the climb, the team was very supportive, provided one on one attention, and always ensured our safety. Summiting was everything they promised it would be and more!
After my climb, I also enjoyed spending several days on a safari. Again, I found the Kilisummit team to be very organized in coordinating each day's events. The safari guides were extremely knowledgeable about the "best spots" to drive to and always shared with us interesting facts about the wide variety of animals we saw each day.
I would highly recommend the Kilisummit team to anyone considering such an adventure. They are extremely reliable, experienced, and easy to work with. The crew was very knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated to making this trip a true adventure for us. In addition to the climb and safari, we also had the opportunity to learn so much about the culture and lives of our Kilisummit team. It truly was a well-rounded adventure and I carry with me today the accomplishments and friendships that this rich experience has left me with.

I have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro twice with Nickson Moshi. First time, in Oct 2006 and again July of 2008. I can say by experience that Nickson and his entire team are there to help you successfully reach the summit. They do everything they can to help you achieve your goal. During the climb from your first step to your last step coming down, they are paying attention to how you are doing. They know if you need to rest, drink water, eat, you are having trouble carrying your pack, they know and assist you. If your pack is too heavy they will reduce the weight or carry it for you. You won't even have to ask, they know.
More amazingly, they do all of this willingly and happily. There attitudes and work ethic are exemplary. I highly commend Kilisummit for both a climbing and safari. If you make your arrangements with Kilisummit you will not have to be concerned about any travel, lodging or eating arrangements for the entire climb or safari.
That is a wonderful experience.
